Building a new brand, experiential art direction, and keynote development for the first Facebook Creator Day

Facebook Creator Day

To show Facebook’s commitment to its long-term strategy for Creator communities on our platforms, Creator Day was developed as a Facebook-owned event bring together Creators and Facebook leaders to connect and build relationships.

Art Direction, Visual Identity, Brand, Keynote, Event

Challenge
To build a full brand package in-parallel to the programming of the event. The brand package had to cover also keynote presentation identity for speakers, experiential for event space, and motion for video.

Finishing the branding efficiently was only the first step, as I had to immediately after, work with leaders speaking on large-scale keynotes and develop visual narratives using the new brand. This was in tandem with providing direction to our supporting agency who were building out the event space.

Result

The first Facebook Creator Day was a success and brought excitement from current and new creators on using our apps. This led to building long-standing relationships with creator communities and the robust creator programs of today. Creator Day started only in LA in the beginning once a year and now takes place in locations globally throughout the year as a staple event that creators always look forward to.
